Ferni grew up working alongside his father, a 30 year strawberry farmer. Ferni has spent over 18 years learning the ins and outs of farming over 200 acres a year, as well as the needs of local farmers. Now, a father of three boys of his own, Ferni has taken that knowledge and experience and turned it into a business of his own with a commitment to excellent quality and reliability.
As a second generation farmer with over 18 years of experience in strawberry production, Ferni Contreras made a career in farming after growing up working alongside his father. In 2011 Ferni started his own business, New Age Prep, Inc. , as a way to offer his skills and knowledge in working with the earth to other famers.
Our Company
Formed in 2011, New Age Prep Inc., is a full service farm site prep and tear down business. We also offer transport for small equipment and material from Oxnard to the Salinas Valley.
